So happy to share this update that our entire team and all our services from Hirsch are now proudly operating as Third Plateau. Since our merger with Third Plateau last year, I have been excited about new opportunities for our team (now over 80), to expand our impact into new areas and communities–through strategic planning, executive coaching, research, and much more. We remain deeply committed to our foundation/family philanthropy clients and projects, looking tackling community and societal challenges. I am even more convinced that this merger was the best decision for our team, our partners, and the communities we work with. Our team has also begun using @thirdplateau.com email addresses. The Hirsch website will continue to be live for some time, but moving forward, you can find the Third Plateau team and our expanded services at www.thirdplateau.com. Excited to be a Principal at the merged firm and all that's ahead.

Inside Philanthropy recently interviewed the Hellman Foundation's Founding Executive Director, Susan Hirsch, and current Executive Director, Annie U., about our decision to spend down by the end of 2034. The central theme is a belief that moving money into the community in the short-term will have a lasting impact. According to Susan Hirsch, “The idea of legacy matters, and it can take many shapes and forms. Family foundations care about having a lasting impact on the community, and the Hellman board believed they could achieve this by spending down.” #philanthropy #foundations #spenddown #community

Summer's a great time for organizations to reflect on their values and how to support their team. It's an ideal moment to reset, refresh, and take a pulse check on the whole organization. How is your team doing? Consider things like connection, work-life balance, families, burnout, supporting the whole person, productivity, workloads, growth, and inspiration. In our culture planning process, we craft a lasting roadmap for organizations to express, sustain, and nurture their culture for years to come. Because a well-maintained culture is the key to turning great ideas and intentions into lasting success. https://lnkd.in/gJ3Ni5cN #SocialImpact #Culture #People #Leadership
