Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of transgender individuals within our Hispanic community and beyond. This day is a powerful reminder to uplift trans voices, honor their journeys, and ensure they are seen, valued, and respected. We are committed to building workplaces and communities where everyone—regardless of gender identity—can thrive, live authentically, and be celebrated for who they are. We also recognize the importance of allies. Together, we all play a role in advancing equity, fostering belonging, and championing a future where every trans person can shine. Today and every day, we stand in solidarity, celebrate visibility, and continue the work toward lasting inclusion. #TDOV #TransDayOfVisibility #Allies #TransRightsAreHumanRights #InclusionMatters #Latinx #Latino #Latina #Latine #Hispanic #TransIsBeautiful #LGBTQInclusion

About us
Founded in 1986, the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is one of the most influential advocacy organizations in the nation representing 16 national Hispanic organizations in the United States and Puerto Rico. Our mission is to advance the inclusion of Hispanics in Corporate America at a level commensurate with our economic contributions. To that end, HACR focuses on four areas of corporate social responsibility and community reciprocity: Employment, Procurement, Philanthropy, and Governance. Collectively, the coalition members reflect the voice of more than 46.6 million Hispanics living in the United States and Puerto Rico, serving those diverse communities through advocacy, education, representation, assistance, capacity building, public policy support, resource development, and the exertion of political influence. HACR Coalition Members work with more than 1,500 affiliate community-based organizations serving the Hispanic community in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, including more than 450 institutions of higher learning enrolling three out of every four U.S. Hispanic college students, and 400 publications with a combined circulation of more than 10 million.

#FlashbackFriday to a standout moment from the 2024 HACR Leadership Pipeline Program™, when Joanna Dean, Group Vice President at Toyota Financial Services Corporation, shared this powerful insight: “You can ask for opportunities to present at a leadership level or present out to your enterprise team. I think those are the opportunities where you can show what you're made of... that all this excellent output and work you've been doing should be recognized. But you do it in a way that’s authentic to yourself.” In other words, own your impact, speak up, and lead with authenticity. These are the types of leadership conversations that define the HACR Leadership Pipeline Program™ — and we’re bringing them back this year in Minneapolis, May 5–7. Register today: https://lnkd.in/epXzn5r8 Know someone who’s ready to step into their next level of leadership? March 25, 2025, is Women’s Equal Pay Day. This day marks how far into the year women must work to earn what men made in the previous year. On average, women working full-time year-round earn just 83 cents for every dollar earned by men, and that number drops to 75 cents when including part-time and seasonal workers. For Latinas and other women of color, the pay gap is even wider, which is why Latina Equal Pay Day typically falls much later in the year—a stark reminder of the barriers that persist. Pay equity is not just a women’s issue—it’s an economic imperative. Let’s continue pushing for policies and practices that close the gap. The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) expresses deep sorrow at the passing of the Honorable Lincoln Díaz-Balart, a longtime champion of Hispanic inclusion, a tireless advocate for freedom and democracy, and a valued HACR Board of Directors member. Díaz-Balart was a pioneering leader and steadfast advocate for Hispanic inclusion. His dedication to fostering leadership opportunities for Hispanics through his many years as a member of Congress (1993 - 2011) and as a founding member of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) continues to shape the professional and civic landscape today. “Lincoln Díaz-Balart was not only a respected leader but also a pillar of our community, whose work opened doors for countless Hispanic professionals and future leaders,” said HACR Board Chair Thomas Savino. “His belief in creating pathways to leadership for Hispanics from all walks of life was visionary, and his legacy will continue to inspire our work at HACR and beyond.” As a former Member of Congress, he was known for his principled leadership and unwavering fight for democracy in Cuba. After founding CHLI, he helped develop the next generation of Hispanic leaders, building a bipartisan and bicameral leadership development organization that, to this day, has shaped the careers of hundreds of Latino interns and fellows. As HACR mourns his passing, the organization remains grateful for his years of service on the HACR board and his enduring impact on inclusivity, advocacy, and leadership development. “Lincoln Díaz-Balart was a trailblazer who understood the importance of ensuring that Hispanics are not only present, but also influential, in the halls of power—whether in corporate diversity, Congress, or the global stage,” said President and CEO of HACR, Cid Wilson. “I'm grateful for his many years of support going back over two decades.” HACR sends its deepest condolences to the Díaz-Balart family and loved ones, as well as all influenced by his work. His dedication and service to the Hispanic community will be a lasting legacy for the next generation of leaders.
