Our government construction team joined forces with At Home in Alexandria to help senior community members in Alexandria, Virginia declutter their spaces and find new homes for items they no longer need. Together, they cleared out closets, sorted through boxes, and collected a whopping 1,800 pounds of disposals, recyclables, hazardous materials, and donations – filling an entire HITT van!

Introducing the transformed third-floor aperture at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, California! As part of a multi-phase renovation, our Los Angeles team revamped this 14,000-sf roof deck, enhancing its appeal to potential tenants for client, CBRE. From removing more than 47 tons of ballast rock to installing a stunning pedestal paver and turf system with elevated stainless steel platforms using approximately 39 tons of tile and grass and smart RGB LED uplights, this project is all about aesthetics and functionality. "This month, our Raleigh team proudly topped out the Johnston Community College Advanced Manufacturing Training Facility in Four Oaks, North Carolina! 🏗️ This 67,000-square-foot development is set to drive sustainable job growth by equipping the next generation with the skills needed for manufacturing trades. We’re thrilled to have placed the final beam and are looking forward to delivering this impactful project in Spring 2025. We’re proud to share that we’ve topped out another mission critical data center project for QTS Data Centers near Richmond, Virginia! This milestone was achieved alongside our partners at QTS, our talented design team at Sheehan Nagle Hartray Architects, a Woolpert Company, and our dedicated trade partners. Our team marked the exciting occasion with a festive lunch, heartfelt speeches, and raffles to show our appreciation toward our hardworking construction teams. Thanks to everyone who has safely worked together to deliver this phase of the project!

Meet Project Manager Daniel Diaz, a proud Chicago native who now calls Dallas, Texas home. 🤠 Daniel joined the HITT team in 2022 as a traveling assistant project manager, and his journey has been nothing short of impressive. Today, he’s making a mark as a project manager overseeing a complex, ground-up data center project in San Antonio that will total more than 300,000 square feet — a testament to his dedication and hard work. Daniel brought industry knowledge and skills to HITT, but it’s here that he said that he truly learned the value of building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. He’s excited about the growth and the expanding projects HITT is taking on throughout Texas and is grateful for the opportunities to grow within the company. His advice to anyone in the industry? "There will always be problems—stay positive, and keep your head up. Come in with an open mind. Be a sponge. Listen to everything and everybody. You can learn something from everyone."
