We really appreciated everyone who came out to our Military Family Night at the Hickory Crawdads! We had a blast throwing out the first pitch (nice fastball from a National Guardswoman's son), enjoying hot dogs, dodging foul balls (might have caught one!), and just having a great time at LP Frans Stadium with other military families. Special thanks to the Hickory Crawdads leadership and staff for being so accommodating and helping us organize this event annually. The only downside – the 'Dads didn't come away with the win in a rain-shortened game. Each week, we’ll highlight retired and active servicemembers, veteran-owned businesses, veterans support organizations, and topics relevant to the military community and our Hickory Metro region.
