Education trends at a glance: Highlights of the NexGen Education Summit in Munich 🎓✨ What impact do #digitalization and internationalization have on education and society? More than 120 guests from various sectors discussed the megatrends at the NextGen Education Summit in Munich. The event was hosted by Hochschule Fresenius to celebrate its exclusive partnership with Arizona State University® (ASU), the leading university for innovation in the USA. Highlights of the summit: 🌐 Interactive showcases, including virtual reality projects and the university's own #AI application “NextGeneration:AI”, provided insights into modern learning technologies. 🗣️ Two top-class panel discussions, moderated by Prof. Dr. Moritz E. Behm, Professor of Digital Innovation and Transformation Management, dealt with current trends in education: Lara Sophie Bothur, Voice for Innovation @ Deloitte, Dominic von Proeck, co-founder of 'Leaders of AI', Valentina Kerst, Senior Partner Manager @ KI Bundesverband and former State Secretary, and Alessia De Carlo, master student at Hochschule Fresenius, discussed the opportunities and challenges that the use of artificial intelligence entails. 👉 The rapid development of artificial intelligence is revolutionizing many areas of everyday and professional life. 👉 Companies and educational institutions have enormous potential to use AI if they define relevant use cases and implement them in a planned manner. 👉 AI does not replace people: Specific action and leadership skills are required when using AI – whether in teaching, in a professional context, or in the private sphere.
