It was a great honor to present with Dr. Kim Pierce, MD MBA as hosted by Aurene Wilford at the session at HLTH as part of the KLAS Research K2 Payer/Provider Collaborative. We were able to share the results of the Risk Score Accuracy collaboration and how the provider team has: · Increased program revenue by a whopping 83% YoY · Dramatically increased their % of Closed HCC Gaps · Reduced Open Gaps per member across their attributed population · and Dr. Pierce shared great examples of real improvements in patient care The bottom line: Risk Score Accuracy sets the Foundation for Health Care econmics Payer / Provider Collaboration sets the Foundation for successful VBC Empathetic, personalized Care Team technology enables achievements for all. This is a note of great appreciation for the thoughtful leadership at KLAS Research for their extraordinary pioneering efforts in driving Payer/Provider Collaboration and the results that can start to be realized. Since 2019, KLAS Research has been hosting an annual Payer/Provider Collaboration Summit where various key stakeholders from Payers, Providers, Government and Technology sectors come together to define ways and best practices on how to remove administrative burden from care teams to clear the path for better member/patient care. Due to KLAS’ visionary and graceful leadership, we are now starting to see not only new tangible and sustainable results appear, but this work is also becoming sustainable and continues to expand. Why is this so important? If you think about it, in the design of Value Based Care, human collaboration is right in the center. We all know that good medical care that is effective, affordable, accessible and equitable is very much a team sport across many stakeholders. These vital goals are not achievable without a foundation of shared focus achieved by open, honest collaboration. Of course, none of this would be technically feasible without all the information technology and policy leadership driving the definition and use of HL7 FHIR standards as the information lingua franca we can leverage, so let’s not forget about them. Kudos to you Chuck, Don, Micky and Teams as we are really starting to capitalize on the fruits of all your herculean efforts. Please join me in appreciating the KLAS Research Team for providing the light and the forum to sit together to listen, learn, explore, invest and achieve together. We are all grateful for your leadership in enabling these critical dialogues and facilitating a way to showcase the sustainable achievements of leading collaborators that sets the stage for lasting achievements for all.
