🔍 Hard Truths From Our Analysis of 3 Months of Disputes for our Home Care Agencies🔍 We took a deep dive into the numbers, and here are some eye-opening statistics for home care agency owners: 1. 35% of all disputes were credit card transactions. The good news? All of these were successfully defended when the agency owner had proof of authorization, leading to a ruling in their favor. 2. 65% of all disputes were ACH transactions. If processed within the last 60 days, these were automatically reversed in favor of the account holder, resulting in a loss for the agency owner. When making ACH payments, customers are protected by the ACH rules and through Federal Regulation, via Regulation E. Under the ACH rules, the customer's bank is obliged to refund the debits without question, as long as the request is received within 60 days from the NACHA transaction date. 3. For ACH transactions older than 60 days, the account holder's bank requested proof of authorization. In every case where the document was correctly signed and up-to-date, the ruling was in favor of the agency owner. 4.
