Homeport is incredibly grateful for our partnership with Park National Bank! Today, they committed $55,000 in support of our housing advisory services, which includes our homebuyer education and financial education courses, as well as credit and budget counseling. We were so thrilled to not only receive this donation, but also have the opportunity to show the impact it will have on Central Ohio families. This investment means more renters getting the tools, resources, and information they need to become homeowners. On behalf of the clients we serve, thank you!

Last week, Newark made it a crime to sleep in public, even for the homeless with no "private" to retreat to. Defying the overwhelming public testimony against this law. Ignoring the research that shows criminalization isn't just ineffective at addressing homeless, but actually makes it worse. And denying the very real costs this will have for all taxpayers. I want to thank the NewarkAdvocate.com News and Information for publishing my OpEd this morning. Central Ohio deserves serious solutions... this isn't that. https://lnkd.in/gD6ns9SA

Thanks to The Women's Fund of Central Ohio for an incredibly well-organized and inspiring Community Grant Review Day! I enjoyed volunteering as a grant reader and participating in reviewing and scoring discussions with this group of ladies. So many amazing organizations focused on breaking down gender norms and social barriers impacting women!
