✨We are proud to share that HonorBridge staff Melinda Locklear, Chief Support Officer; Joel Baucom, Director, Partner Engagement; and Kelly Boyd, Hospital Liaison, provided results-oriented presentations on innovative practices to save more lives of patients on the national transplant waiting list. Hundreds of colleagues gathered from across the nation last week in San Antonio at the 2024 Association of Organ Procurement Organizations Annual Meeting to share best practices. Together the teams shared new skills and techniques that ultimately honor and use donor tissue gifts to their full potential. 🏛 Recently HonorBridge leaders, Danielle Bumarch, Kirk Mizelle, and Chuck Heald traveled to Washington DC to meet with federal legislators and their aides. They discussed HonorBridge’s record year for saving lives, the US having the world’s best organ donation and transplantation system, and the need for the federal government to use better data for measuring results. 💙💚 It was great seeing @repgregmurphy, @repdondavis, and @repvirginiafoxx and reconnecting with many legislative aides.
