  • Hope Community Capital LLC is honored to partner with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity on a $4 million #NMTC transaction! With $4 million in NMTC financing, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity is developing energy-efficient, single-family affordable homes on 13 vacant lots in Milwaukee's Harambee, Midtown, and Lindsay Heights neighborhoods. Over the next five years Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's goal is to expand to build or rehab more than 30 homes per year, on their way to 40 per year by 2028. In 2024, Milwaukee Habitat plans to build 32 new construction homes in neighborhoods like King Park, Harambee, and Midtown, including the 13 homes that were financed with #NMTC! This is incredibly important work in Milwaukee, where 1 in 3 renters spend half or more of their income on housing. This investment is about more than building homes; it's about building hope and fostering equity in our community. We are proud to be part of this transformative project! A huge thank you to Forward Community Investments(CDE), U.S. Bank(Investor), and Habitat for Humanity International for your continued partnership!
