HOPE Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a front office representative. About us: We are a holistic, locally owned, small business physical therapy and wellness practice. We have been in business for 8 years. We offer a strong team culture and work to provide a nurturing, supportive, and relaxed environment for our employees and clients. Responsibilities: 1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor. 2. Answer phone calls and provide assistance or route calls to the appropriate staff members. 3. Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that patient preferences and availability are taken into account. You will be in charge of the front desk patient schedule. 4. Manage and update patient records, ensuring that all documentation is complete, organized and confidential. 5. Manage patient registration and intake processes. 6. Collect payments, process transaction, and maintain accurate financial records. 7. Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow. 8. Handle inquiries and assist with confirming patient insurance benefits when needed. Qualifications: 1. A working knowledge of insurance verifications and submissions for authorizations is appreciated. 2. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is strongly preferred. 3. Familiarity with medical records management and understanding of HIPAA regulations. 4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone. 5. Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Proficiency in using computer software applications, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office suite. 6. Ability to multitask and work efficiently. 7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
