We're thrilled to announce a partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia, which will culminate with a beautiful art installation on our education center's façade in June designed by L.A. based artist, Paige Smith. To kick off this project, Hope will be hosting a Mural Arts instructor this Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 am to lead community members through an Origami Butterfly workshop. Thank you Philabundance for including Hope Partnership School students in this wonderful opportunity to serve their city alongside #PresidentJoeBiden, Cherelle Parker, and AmeriCorps. It was truly an important way to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Thank you, #PresidentJoeBiden, Cherelle Parker, Philabundance Board Chair Dixieanne James, and AmeriCorps for volunteering at Philabundance to help serve others on #MLK Day of Service. We were honored to have the power of youth engaged in service as you packed meal kits for families facing hunger in our area. Each family meal kit consisted of fresh produce and additional items to create a complete family meal with a recipe card included.
