Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry with a robust track record of driving commercial success through strategic planning and have worked in senior logistics roles throughout her career. Besides her professional experience, Lisa is a recognized thought-leader in her field, having served in several professional industry organizations. She is a sought-after speaker at numerous events showcasing her natural ability to connect with larger audiences at all professional levels. Her engaging communication style makes complex topics accessible and relevant. She will lead our efforts within sales and customer experience globally, including key account management, at a moment when our company and business is in a strong development phase geographically. Sustainability spotlight: Join Horizon’s safe driving campaign! At Horizon Auto Logistics, we’re committed to creating safer roads for everyone. A year ago, we launched our campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving, reaching more than 1,350 drivers and engaging communities across our operational markets. Now, we’re excited to announce the next phase of our Drive for Life campaign. In this phase, we’re expanding our efforts by partnering with local governments, schools, and community organizations. Together, we’ll host Safe Driving Days, featuring interactive activities, presentations, and co-branded public safety materials. We’ll also inspire the next generation with art and cultural programs that teach children about road safety. Sustainability spotlight: Energy efficiency! Aligning seamless logistics with sustainability values is a challenging journey, and we recognize that. We are gradually transforming our business across all sectors. Given the complexities, we begin by asking the right questions for each challenge. In the environmental pillar, one key question is: What should a Green Yard look like to integrate sustainability principles with the high-quality logistics our services demand? We believe that achieving this alignment in the automotive logistics sector involves adopting practices like utilizing low-emission transportation and route-optimization, implementing energy-efficient infrastructure, and creating effective water recycling systems. At Horizon Auto Logistics in Mexico, we are committed to making Green Yards a reality. After implementing a photovoltaic power plant in Puente Villa Rica in January 2023—featuring 140 panels and a total capacity of 75.6 kWp—we are now advancing with a new plant in Cuapixtla, which has already been installed and is awaiting regulatory authorization to begin operating. This new system includes 367 panels and will generate a total of 203 kWp, enough to power around 90 homes with 3 residents each, consuming an average of 300 kWh per month. #sustainablefuture #thenewhorizon #syn3rgy360 #automotive #automotivelogistics

On Oct 9th, 2024, we officially inaugurated our new office in Veracruz downtown. The event was well attended, and after a tour of the new office facilities the party moved to the rooftop where the festivities continued with the ribbon cutting ceremony (pictured). Says Carlos Renteral, VP & Head of Mexico: "We set up our Veracruz office years ago but with the expansion into the Port and Mobility segments we've outgrown the space and initiated the new office project earlier this year. This building is ideally located and we have further capacity to grow. Veracruz is our main operational site and the largest automotive port in Mexico, in fact it's amongst the largest automotive ports globally and we are very proud being part of it".
