Horizon’s Stockyard Community Afterschool location has been creating wonderful memories with its students. They had an unforgettable experience, especially when they got to explore a fire truck! The firemen were incredibly kind to come out and show the kids around, even illuminating the parking lot, which made the evening even more special. We were also fortunate to have the police department visit and talk to the students about Halloween safety. Their guidance and presence were greatly appreciated as the holiday approached. To top off the event, we hosted a dance party, which brought a lot of energy and joy to the kids. We would also like to express our gratitude to our partners who generously donated to our program: Dewey's Pizza, Lakewood, and Home Depot! #LightOnAfterschool
