Horizons has a very special mission: to provide extraordinary opportunities to 40 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and extensive medical support needs. Anchored by a caring, dedicated staff, Horizons provides compassionate care through programs and services intentionally catered to each individual's needs. Horizons Residential Care Center routinely seeks out highly motivated individuals with a passion to make a difference to join our team because our first priority is ensuring top-notch and evolving care for the individuals who call Horizons home. We recruit for direct service professionals, nursing personnel, medication technicians, maintenance, educators, housekeeping and administrative staff.

Horizons’ Resource Development team is attending the AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) Conference today, hosted by the AFP Triad Chapter. The lineup of presenters, true experts in their field, shared valuable tools to help us further expand Horizons’ impact. We’re also pleased to introduce our new Director of Fundraising and Development, Marianne Donadio, who is pictured here with Julie Lee, our Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Marianne has over a decade of experience in philanthropy and we are so excited to have her on our team. A special thank you to Suzanne Elise Walsh, President of Bennett College, for her keynote presentation, and to the AFP Triad Chapter for organizing this opportunity.
