Some Projects Come with Extra Spirit 👻 When we took on the Hotel Phillips, Curio Collection by Hilton, we knew we weren’t just stepping into a renovation—we were stepping into history…and maybe even a few ghost stories. Working on an iconic property like this is more than just making updates. It’s about respecting the quirks and stories that make it what it is. We didn’t have any ghostly helpers (at least, none that we saw), but our team leaned into the hotel’s character, bringing out the best of its timeless charm while keeping the legends alive. Revitalizing a place like this is no small feat. It takes a dedicated team who knows how to blend the past with the present and create a space where history meets modern comfort. And maybe, just maybe, the hotel's ghostly residents approved of the new look. 👀 Shoutout to everyone who made this project come to life with special thanks to Madeleine Leritz, Matthew Carroll, and Kyle Schmitt. Here’s to preserving legacies, tackling challenges, and bringing a little history to life—one project at a time. Happy Halloween from all of us at Hotel Rehabs! 🎃

Throwback to one of our many exterior facade projects—a full exterior renovation of a Gen 2 Courtyard by Marriott, along with interior updates. We worked closely with Marriott International and our internal Design Build Team to stay on budget while capturing the essence of Marriott's re-design. The result? A completely refreshed guest experience, inside and out. Big thanks to John Bauer & Cheryl Winn from Marriott International for their support, and a shoutout to our Project Manager Andrew Anzano for capturing some stunning drone footage of the project. Successful projects happen when great teams collaborate toward a shared goal—but even then, challenges are part of the game. We are always ready for the next challenge!

Back in 2015, when we set out to grow Hotel Rehabs, we knew attracting and retaining amazing talent was key. One idea we introduced was a 1-month sabbatical at the 5-year mark. Our CEO, Chris Winterhalter, believed that giving people time to step back, recharge, and refocus was essential for both personal and professional growth. Of course, there are challenges when someone takes extended time off. Resourcing can be tough, and team members often step up to cover projects. That’s why we plan ahead, working closely with the team to ensure workflows and client communication stay on track. These moments also create chances for others to grow, solve challenges, and step into new roles. At the end of the day, we believe the benefits far outweigh the challenges. When team members return from sabbatical, they come back refreshed, stronger, and ready to contribute at a higher level. It’s not just about time away—it’s about coming back better. One of our core values is to #StriveForPerfection, which reflects a mindset of lifelong learning and growth. This sabbatical is just one small way we help our people grow.

Whether you’re knee-deep in a renovation or just want to bounce around some ideas, they’d love to connect and hear what’s on your mind. Let’s grab a coffee and talk about how we can bring your next project to life. See you there!

When it comes to renovations, every detail counts. We’ve learned that the hard way—like the time we missed 142 ceiling light fixture relocations. 💡 That’s a $70k mistake no one wants (we covered the cost not the client). To make sure we get it right, we started 3D scanning every property we work on. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about being accurate. This helps us stick to budgets, meet schedules, and avoid surprises. There are a lot of people that talk about doing turn key work, but the reality is, it's difficult internally to get it right. What does right mean? For us it means minimizing the pain of construction and helping you achieve your project goals, by way of taking on every aspect of the project. Here’s our team testing it out in the office—just one of the ways we’re making sure we deliver what we promise. #HotelRehabs #3DScanning #DetailsMatter #ConstructionLife

We were proud to support Street Samaritans’ Open Hearts Gala as an Angel Sponsor, an event that embodied compassion and generosity. At Hotel Rehabs, we believe real hospitality means more than just creating spaces—it’s about fostering connections and supporting those in need, making sure everyone feels seen and cared for. Shouout to Chris and Frida from the Hotel Rehabs Team and their partners. Check out the incredible work Street Samaritans is doing in Chicago: https://lnkd.in/ebhTcmw5

⏱️ 57,920 hours. That’s how much time we’ve spent bidding on 724 projects, with over 600 of those in the Marriott International, Hilton, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and IHG Hotels & Resorts brands. We’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, but those mistakes taught us how to bid hotel projects accurately. Over time, we’ve built a deep database of construction pricing, materials, and FF&E costs. Estimating on a national scale isn’t easy—being both competitive and accurate takes serious effort. We invest a lot of time and money into getting these numbers right, and that’s given us the ability to deliver accurate budgets from project start to closeout—which, unfortunately, is rare in our space. When a client needs a quick number for a potential hotel acquisition, we’ve got the data to help them make informed decisions fast. At the end of the day, our goal is always to get the right number. Not just the number that gets the project started, but the one that’s right for the owner, right for the vendors, right for our trade partners, and, most importantly, right for delivering the project on time and on budget. It’s never easy, but we’ve got a great team of problem solvers making it happen. #HotelRenovation #HotelConstruction #AReputationForRenovation

Excited to share a glimpse of what’s coming! 🙌 We’ve been working hard to bring another transformation of Sheraton Hotels & Resorts at Albuquerque Airport to life, and we’re thrilled it’s finally happening this winter! Gensler’s incredible design, combined with the expertise of our best-in-class Hotel Rehabs team, is making this long-awaited transformation a reality. A huge shoutout to one of our long-term clients, Terrapin Investments, for everything they’ve done to get this project off the ground!
