The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda provides a number of housing programs and services including Housing Choice Vouchers, Project-Based Vouchers, specialized housing assistance, Family Self-Sufficiency, and resident services. Our primary goal is to provide quality, affordable, and safe housing in the City of Alameda. We work with other units of government, non-profits and private landlords. We also partner with a variety of agencies to provide housing and support services to as many eligible individuals, families, seniors, and persons with disabilities as possible. The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda is hosting an in-person LIHTC income certification training at 701 Atlantic Avenue (in Alameda) on October 14th through October 16th. Staff at all levels are welcome. The PHA/Non-profit fee is $575 which includes the test. To register for the training, interested parties can send an email to lbyrd@alamedahsg.org.

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) and the Alameda Boys and Girls Club (ABGC) recently extended their community partnership for another five years leading into 2029. The #communitypartnership between AHA and ABGC provides free membership and access for AHA youth (ages 6 to 18) to all the incredible ABGC programming geared towards #academicsuccess, #healthylifestyles, #STEM, #sports, #arts and #teens.
