AJ is originally from Maryland but has lived in the Myrtle Beach area for the last ten years. He has spent the last three years working in the public sector as a District Manager for the Horry County Stormwater Department. Prior to his employment with Horry County, AJ attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in marine science. #HIC would like to welcome Mason Cloy to the team! Mason will be working as a Land Development Manager in the greater Savannah MSA. Mason has spent the last 6 years in the construction space. Prior to construction, Mason dedicated 6 years to the US Army as a Ranger. We are eternally grateful for his service and are proud to employ a US veteran. Mason was also a 4-year Letterman as an offensive lineman at Clemson and a three-time member of the ACC Academic Honor roll. We would like to give a special thanks to the City of Hardeeville, SC for their support and partnership throughout the entire process. HIC LAND would like to welcome Nikole Steeley to the team! Nikole joined HIC Land in October 2023 to work as a paralegal, responsible for reviewing contracts, assisting throughout the closing process, and ensuring closings move forward in a timely and efficient manner. Prior to joining HIC, Nikole worked as a real estate paralegal for a successful South Carolina law firm with a focus on real estate closings. Nikole also worked as a title escrow officer for a title company, assisting with transactions across the U.S. Nikole is local to the Charleston area and received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Charleston, followed up by a certificate of applied science in Paralegal Studies. We are very excited to have her on the team!

HIC LAND is proud to announce it closed on the purchase of 313 acres (748 lots) in East Argent, located in Bluffton, South Carolina. This represents the first of two phases HIC Land will purchase. Phase 2 is comprised of an additional 261 acres (752 lots). HIC would like to thank Jeff Coggin along with Preserve Homes & Neighborhoods for their tremendous support from due diligence to closing. Without counterparts like Jeff, deals of this size and complexity are not feasible. Further, we would like to express gratitude to D.R.
