Just like your other assets and possessions, gun owners need to have a plan in place for the management of guns and firearms upon incapacitation or death. A gun trust is the safest way to ensure your firearm(s) are distributed legally and to your wishes. It’s also a strategic way to keep them out of probate. Learn more about the benefits of gun trusts and how they can safeguard your loved ones on the Hackstaff, Snow, Atkinson & Griess blog: https://lnkd.in/gRy7jpPH #hsaglaw #guntrusts #estateplanning #estateplanningattorney

Election Day 2024 is quickly approaching, and Colorado requires that employers allow all eligible employees time to vote without docking pay or using that absence as grounds for termination or other penalties. Early voting begins on Oct. 21 in Colorado, so employers should begin talking now with employees about scheduling so that every eligible employee has the chance to vote. Employers can choose to specify the hours during which an employee may be absent, but must adhere to employee requests on when those hours fall (such as the beginning or end of a work shift). Employers also cannot require employees to utilize mail-in voting in lieu of missing work to vote in person. Hackstaff, Snow, Atkinson & Griess can help with your employment law matters, contact us today for a free consultation. https://lnkd.in/g2XPWGHB #hsaglaw #electionday2024 #employmentlaw
