When we build a new facility, our work goes beyond the Huber walls. See how our team is investing in the Shuqualak, Mississippi community: https://bit.ly/3zwgVEO #HuberHelps
When Huber invests in a new location, we aren’t just investing in our business – we're investing in the local community at large. More than 1,200 students near the future location of the new Huber Engineered Woods (HEW) mill site in Shuqualak, Mississippi will get to participate in Project Lead The Way (PLTW) programming thanks to a $150,000 donation from Huber Helps. This funding will send 20 local teachers to training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) this summer, allowing STEM programming to be implemented for the 2024–2025 school year. “This incredibly generous donation will go a long way to bolster our schools and students in Noxubee and Kemper counties,” says Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves. “I’m thankful that we have incredible partners like Huber who not only bring fantastic jobs and great business to our state, but who also generously invest in and support their local communities.” Read more about our commitment to the long-term success of the Shuqualak community here: https://lnkd.in/enhtYmgX #HuberHelps #ProjectLeadTheWay #Education #CommunityEngagement https://lnkd.in/eYxkX5NT

One of our #DEI pillars is culture, which is cultivated through open communication. Get a glimpse into a recent I Belong at Huber session led by our DE&I team below and discover what I Belong at Huber means to us: https://lnkd.in/dUPtW4b
Thanks to our Huber Engineered Woods teams in Easton and Old Town, Maine this week for our great sessions on strengthening open, honest two-way communication. As part of J.M. Huber Corporation, our I Belong at Huber program seeks to foster a culture marked by inclusion and mutual respect. Better knowing ourselves and each other, and developing skills to connect across differences are important steps on our journey. Together we will go far! #huberculture #inclusion #belonging

One of the ways we empower our team is through volunteer opportunities and giving our employees time to support causes they're passionate about. Read about our recent time spent packing meals with Rise Against Hunger below.
Excited to share that I spent my Tuesday volunteering at a meal packing event hosted by Huber Engineered Woods’ DE&I network, in partnership with APIRE and the Working Parents ERG. I’m incredibly proud of our team’s effort. In just 4 hours, we packed 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger! It's a powerful feeling to work for a company that not only values our time but also empowers us to make a tangible impact on the global community by bringing opportunities to us. A special shout-out to my colleague, Jennifer Durand, for organizing this impactful event and working tirelessly throughout the day.

We’re committed to encouraging those interested in pursuing #STEM careers and ensuring that young people have the support they need to excel. We recently had the honor of presenting our inaugural STEM Scholarships to Commerce High School seniors. Investing in the education of these four talented young women is a significant step in empowering them to become future leaders and innovators, which will bring fresh perspectives and solutions to the complex challenges of our time.
