It’s important to know what to do before, during, and after a disaster, see: www.ready.gov/be-informed HUD OIG performs important performance reviews when it comes to major disaster recovery. We assess HUD’s disaster recovery programs, and investigate reports of fraud, including falsified eligibility, duplicate payments, public corruption, and contracting and contract execution irregularities.
