Hudson’s own VP of Cybersecurity, Max Bobys will be traveling to Tampa, Florida for next week’s Annual International Propeller Club Convention. The theme for the Tampa Convention is “On the Horizon”. Conversations and programs during the gathering will focus on what is next for the future of the maritime industry – from workforce, to Artificial Intelligence, to the geopolitical landscape for trade. This year, Max will be moderating a panel discussion on the first morning of the conference titled “Cyber Attacks: Not if but When”, which will include the following expert speakers: Michelle Otero Valdés, Rommel Edwards, Corey Ranslem, and Jack Chamberlain. Last week, I had the privilege of representing HudsonAnalytix as a speaker and moderator at the 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM) Conference and Exhibition of the Caribbean Shipping Association in beautiful St. Maarten 🇸🇽 Some of the core focuses this year included the future of AI and automation, cybersecurity, data integrity, maritime decarbonization, single window platforms, logistics, and disaster risk management. A special thank-you to my fellow panelists and moderators throughout the conference: Sabine BAJAZET, Kenlie Browne, Daniel Acosta, Richard Solomon, Lysandra Capella, Luke Reeve-Tucker, and Luisandro Cicilia. Thank you as well to all those who joined me and Robert Bosman for CSA's first ever round table breakout sessions, where our group focused on the evolving role of AI in Shipping across the Caribbean.
