These two best friends are seeking a new loving home! Jack Black is Takoda's Seeing Eye Horse He helps Takoda find his way and gives him comfort with his company. They have been pasture mates for many months at the ranch and are two of the sweetest geldings you will ever meet! We rescued Takoda from a cruelty case and he needed to have both eyes removed. He is now healthy and doing great! Thanks to our incredible North Texas community, we had 705 adoptions at our MEGA Adoption Event! We couldn't have done it without all the participating shelters, the people who showed up to save lives, HSNT staff and volunteers, everyone who helped us spread the word, and of course, Petco Love, Clear the Shelters, NBC DFW, Telemundo 39 and BOBS from SKECHERS.

Tomorrow marks the first day of one of our biggest adoption events!! We have 1,000+ pets looking for their furever homes and their adoption fee is only $25 or less!! BIGGEST surprise is you can get in an HOUR earlier than the rest of the crowd by purchasing a $50 FAST PASS (this fee does not cover the adoption fee and is non-refundable)! Only THREE more days until our Clear the Shelters MEGA Adoption Event happening at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall on Saturday and Sunday! Ahhh! A few things to remember: Parking is $12 and don't forget that during the adoption event, all of our adoption centers will be closed to the public. In addition to all adoption center closings this weekend, our Saxe-Forte, Benbrook, and Keller locations will be closed on Friday, August 16th, to prepare for the event.

Are you ready to help us clear the shelters on August 17th and 18th?! HSNT and 20+ other North Texas animal shelters are coming together to find homes for over 1,000 pets in Fort Worth at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall. This Clear the Shelters MEGA Adoption Event features dogs, cats, and other small furry pets. All adoption fees will be $25 or less and include spay/neutering, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations. Pets cannot be reserved in advance, so be the first to arrive! If you want to get into the event one hour early, click the link below and look for the option to purchase one of our Early Bird Fast Passes (one pass per family and only 150 passes available).
