We are pleased to announce the launch of Humphreys Fund V, the latest installment of the closed-end fund series. Nearly a decade ago, Humphreys Capital initiated this series to meet the needs of Qualified Purchasers who prioritize capital gains throughout a fund’s life as a complement to the monthly distributions provided by HREIF. Humphreys Fund V is strategically positioned to seize current market opportunities through residential and industrial real estate investments in high-growth, non-gateway U.S. markets. With plans to invest $10-20 million in equity per project, we will pursue strategic acquisitions and opportunistic developments, leveraging strong industry relationships to maintain a diverse pipeline. https://bwnews.pr/3BWbpMP

This year, we were saddened by the loss of one of our nation’s great businessmen, Charlie Munger. We’ve long held the Berkshire Hathaway duo in high esteem for their midwestern candor and astute stewardship. While we try to follow their advice in many areas of our business, we are especially devoted to Charlie’s endorsement of continuous reading. “In my whole life, I have known no wise people (over a broad subject matter area) who didn’t read all the time—none, zero. You’d be amazed at how much Warren reads—and at how much I read. My children laugh at me. They think I’m a book with a couple of legs sticking out.” In keeping with this legacy, we present the inaugural Humphreys Capital Summer Reading List. New this year, investors in the Humphreys Real Estate Income Fund now have the opportunity to participate in a Distribution Reinvestment Plan (DRIP). The DRIP offers investors a seamless way to reinvest some or all of their monthly distributions, growing their allocation in the Fund over time. I’m proud of the team at Humphreys Capital and our continuous effort to steward trust, foster relationships, and pursue excellence.

The real estate investment industry and landscape is changing rapidly. It’s great to see innovative higher education staying connected as the industry continues to mature and evolve. Thankful for the chance to connect with great students and staff this week at the Univerity of Tulsa: Collins College of Business. Thanks Meagan McCollum for hosting us!
This has been a fun week for real estate at The University of Tulsa: Collins College of Business. On Tuesday, TU Real Estate Advisory Board Member Bruce Bolzle spoke to our Real Estate Principles students about creating value through zoning. On Wednesday, the student real estate club led by President Jacob Silberfarb hosted Grant Humphreys and Creed Hendrickson from Humphreys Capital to talk about private equity investment in real estate. Finally, on Thursday we were fortunate to co-host a wonderful Urban Land Institute (ULI) Oklahoma Minority Developer's Roundtable with speakers Carlos Alfonzo, Sofia Noshay, and Jason Ting and organized by Josh Kunkel and Roland Williams. Thanks to everyone who helped make these opportunities possible for our students!
