Every year, our seniors come together to celebrate their time in the program, and this tradition of heading to Las Vegas, Nevada, is all about more than just fun—it's a chance to network, strengthen bonds, and reflect on the journey we've shared. 🚨TBM (Throwback Monday): Revisiting Retake Roma This past January, the University of Washington and Husky I & I students embarked on a memorable study abroad experience in Rome. Many students had the privilege of attending a business ethics class taught by none other the Rebecca Spitzmiller, Esq., the inspiring founder of Retake Roma. It was a unique opportunity to merge academic learning with hands-on community service, as students joined forces to clean and revitalize the streets of Rome. Reflecting on the experience, Patrick Kane remarked: "After two hours, it almost looked as good as Husky Stadium on a September afternoon. Dubs up!" Jake Kern Kern echoed this sentiment, saying: "Wow, it’s truly a blessing to be able to work with Miss Spitzmiller and witness the incredible impact she has not only on Rome but around the world. #retakeRoma" Even amidst the hard work, the simple joys of Rome shone through, with Dean Shaw Shaw humorously adding: "I love pizza." Griffin’s dedication, talent, and hard work have brought him to this stage, and I have no doubt that he will shine.
