This mission became even more personal when one of our own, Steve Fonseca, shared his story with us. Steve, a dedicated chemist, was on a weight loss journey and, like many, was advised to stay hydrated. However, the water he was drinking was contaminated with harmful chemicals like fluoride. Reflecting on his experience, Steve shared: "I began to experience loss of coordination and diminished eyesight, and after thorough research, I discovered that fluoride poisoning from the water I was drinking was the cause. It took months, but I did regain my coordination and eyesight by drinking the best filtered water." Steve’s search for clean drinking water brought him to Hydr8. Our commitment to providing safe hydration for all resonated deeply with him, and we’re proud to have him on our team as he continues to spread awareness about the dangers of fluoride. This comes at a time when 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 has been announced: The U.S. District Court of Northern California has ruled that water fluoridation at typical levels poses an “unreasonable risk” to children's health, specifically linking it to reduced IQ.
