I am excited to share that I recently completed my summer internship at Hydrasearch Company, LLC in Stevensville Maryland. During my time at Hydrasearch, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving SolidWorks, where I created product models and updated drawings for their latest maritime catalog and defense aerospace hose and fittings components. This experience allowed me to significantly enhance my proficiency in SolidWorks and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and processes in Maritime and Aerospace Defense Manufacturing. I received positive feedback on my work ethic, learning ability, and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Additionally, I was able to collaborate closely with a talented team and gain insights into the dynamics of a professional engineering environment. A big thank you to the entire team at Hydrasearch for the invaluable experience and support throughout the internship. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow within such an innovative company. It’s #NationalInternDay ! Meet Ean, and Jack (not pictured): Hydrasearch Interns of Summer 2024. Here, they received the opportunity to craft a wide array of products, spanning defense and recreational markets, working hands-on through nearly every stage of production—such as precision CNC and manual machining, creating custom laser-engraving programs, following complex assembly procedures, and so much more. As Ean and Jack repeatedly turned raw materials into fully assembled and packaged products, they became familiar with the extensive quality procedures which earned Hydrasearch its AS9100D and ISO9001 Certifications.
