The American IV Association was just mentioned in Good House Keeping!⁠ ⁠ The article titled "IV Therapy Is Soaring in Popularity — But Is It Safe?" published on August 10, 2024, delves into the growing trend of IV therapy and the associated safety concerns, highlighting AIVA's pivotal role in standardizing safety protocols and treatment practices within the industry.⁠ ⁠ Despite its popularity, intravenous therapy has sparked controversy within the medical community due to the lack of regulation and potential safety risks. The Good Housekeeping article underscores the importance of AIVA's mission to ensure the safe administration of IV therapy.
