Hylé is a lean blockchain that helps you build provable applications that are minimally, yet sufficiently, onchain.

About us

Provable applications give us security and privacy through zero-knowledge proofs. They solve the trust dilemma without sacrificing scalability. However, ZK technology remains very constraining because of its fragmented stack, different proving systems, and slow value chain, which limits its potential. 𝐇𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧, allowing developers to build minimally but sufficiently on-chain provable apps. We focus only on what matters: sequencing and settlement. With Hylé, you avoid the high costs, poor performance, and fragmented tools of zkApp development. Our chain handles proofs hassle-free, enabling you to outsource proof generation, parallelize verification, and ensure compatibility. Our modular settlement layer works with any execution engine, proof system, or prover. We give you complete flexibility, and 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝.

Hylé is thrilled to join forces as one of the pioneer companies behind the #zkBoost Consortium! 35+ companies with one shared goal: making trustworthy apps easy for developers and seamless for users. 💡The zkBoost Consortium is a collaboration of companies in the zk-proof space. We're building a unified API for outsourcing proof generation. The zkBoost API will act as a universal adapter for various proving systems, so you don't have to worry about technicalities anymore! ⚙️ With zkBoost, developers can focus on building provable apps without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. The API streamlines proof generation & compatibility. The Consortium empowers developers to choose the most efficient scheme without any bias. In the #zkBoost consortium, we're working alongside all the best ZK companies to offer the best possible unified API for proving services! 🧡 At Hylé, we’re passionate about building trust infrastructure. By natively proving zero-knowledge proofs, we help people reclaim agency and privacy. zkBoost takes us one step closer to a future where provable apps are easy to build. 𝐳𝐤𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 & 𝐇𝐲𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 1. Build your application. 2. Choose your proof system. 3. Call the unified API and let it deal with finding the right proving service. 4. Stop worrying about the underlying tech and focus on your users. We’re excited to be part of this journey and to contribute to the future of freedom and privacy! Stay tuned for more updates from the zkBoost Consortium! 🔥 https://lnkd.in/dCZ97MXp

💼 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. Wallets are the first touchpoint people have with blockchain technology. Your blockchain address is your identity, the hub where you receive funds and make transactions. Right now, there are two main models: 1️⃣ Externally Owned Accounts (EOA) 2️⃣ Smart wallets (account abstraction) But implementing account abstraction on Ethereum? Not easy. Only a few ecosystems, like StarkNet, have it running in production. The problem? Both models have glaring limitations. 🚧 Smart wallets are a great step forward, but they need to evolve. And that evolution comes from zero-knowledge tech. With ZK accounts, the execution of account logic happens offchain, with verification happening onchain. Essentially, accounts function as zk-rollups—efficient, scalable, and secure. At Hylé, zk accounts are native. No more EOAs or smart wallets—just zk accounts from the ground up. 🌱 Curious about the future of account abstraction and how Hylé is leading the charge? 💡 A 𝐳𝐤𝐀𝐩𝐩 generates ZK proofs. 💡 A 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩 creates an output that can be proven. Whether the proof is done by the app or by an external prover or never actually generated, that's fine! Compatibility is key. Provability adds trust, privacy, and efficiency. You can add provability to existing apps without rewriting them entirely, and that's amazing! Any web2 app can become provable and allow for extra security with an « extra layer » without having to recreate the app from scratch. Let's infuse privacy and security into web2! Read more about provable apps on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eS-k7UEt

    • A zkApp generates its own proof. Provable app can offload it to a prover or prover market, or generate its own proof in which case it's a zkApp.

Yesterday, we shared Sylve Chevet interview on Daria Volkova's podcast. For anyone who missed it or prefers written highlights, here’s a quick recap! Hylé is building a network for the future of zero-knowledge (ZK). Instead of cramming ZK into traditional blockchains, we’re designing a decentralized network tailored for provable applications, giving you 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 by default. Hylé’s lean blockchain concept means slower devices can verify work done by faster ones, 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Sylve sees ZK expanding beyond blockchain, from ID verification to financial transparency. Want to learn more about the future of provable applications?
