PEOPLE, NOT TECH, MAKE OR BREAK AN IMPLEMENTATION. Since HyperDraft includes white-glove implementation, I'm often asked what the best practices and common barriers are for LegalTech implementations. I'll dive into this more in detail soon (stay tuned), but here are some quick tips for how an organization can best position itself for an implementation: Keys to success = ⚫ a solid internal project manager who is in communication with all stakeholders, ⚫ established internal buy-in from all necessary teams BEFORE implementation, and ⚫ clarifying the internal lead for each necessary team. There is nothing worse than: ⚫ an internal project manager not incentivized to get a project over the finish line, ⚫ stops at every turn to secure internal buy-in DURING implementation, and ⚫ having too many cooks in the kitchen. #inhousecounsel #legalops #legalinnovation #legaltechnology #lawyers 

“We invested in a no-code solution, but it didn’t feel like it was no-code. It’s a lot of work to use.”   If I had a dollar for every time I’ve been told this by legal ops or in-house folks, well, I’d be sitting on my own private island and not typing here on LinkedIn. “No-code” solutions aren’t a silver bullet. A better description for “no-code” would be a DIY with a “drag and drop” interface. With “no-code” solutions, customers have to build out the workflows and apps. Instead of coding it in the traditional sense, they have to:  ⚫ learn how to set up applications within the “no-code” software,  ⚫ how to fit it into their existing tech stack,  ⚫ and train others to do the same, or hire someone to do all of the above. ⤴️ Many are drawn to “no-code” solutions because of the control element. Legal pros who are often overwhelmed by tech feel like the “drag and drop” nature will allow them more control over the project. While that may be true, folks typically underestimate - (1) how busy they are, (2) how much work setup takes, and (3) how expensive it is to hire someone to set it up for you. These factors often lead projects to never get off the ground, budget issues, or the software rarely being used. That’s one of many reasons why HyperDraft isn’t a “no-code” solution. We are a zero-lift solution.
