📱 Mobile security isn’t one-size-fits-all. With mobile threats on the rise, organizations need to rethink how they protect sensitive data. MDM controls the device, MAM secures the apps—but virtual mobility leveraging a tool like Hypori eliminates endpoint risk altogether. 🔐 Ready to rethink your approach to mobile security? Dunnagan M. makes excellent points on how Hypori could be used in this sticky legal situation! The peace of mind that you gain by being able to audit virtually (if needed) if something comes up removes a lot of hurdles. Executive travel and the ability to quickly enable contractors with virtual access to your network and applications are two other use cases. Everyone could fall victim to social engineering - whether it is from phishing, credential stuffing but also INTERNAL SPIES. The Rippling vs Deel Lawsuit news sparks conversations about how physical devices are required to conduct an official investigation in order to prove and have evidence of corporate espionage. Hypori could be used in two ways in this case: 1. Due to Hypori's virtual workspace, there is no need to capture the physical device. Everything could be audited virtually. 2. The internal mole would have never had access to any corporate resources on the physical device. This also raises the point of user access. Most companies give unfettered access to corporate applications on personal devices unless compliance explicitly states otherwise. Some food for thought. What do you think of this lawsuit? https://lnkd.in/ewfgG8Y3

A letter signed by 21 state Attorneys General was sent to congressional leadership on March 6, 2025, urging immediate passage of the "No DeepSeek on Government Devices Act" (H.R. 1121). The bipartisan coalition warns that DeepSeek AI software developed in China presents a significant national security risk. According to the letter, cybersecurity experts have identified concerning features within DeepSeek's programming: "DeepSeek has code hidden in its programming which has the built-in capability to send user data directly to the Chinese government." The software reportedly collects extensive personal data, including: • Chat and search query history • Keystroke patterns • IP addresses • Activity from other applications The attorneys general note that "users who register or log in to DeepSeek may unknowingly be creating accounts in China, making their identities, search queries, and online behavior visible to Chinese state systems." This warning comes after a series of serious cybersecurity incidents. The letter cites a recent Chinese hack of the U.S. Treasury Department that compromised the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US, which "reviews foreign investments for national security risks," and the sanctions office. Multiple allied governments have already taken preventive action: 🇨🇦 Canada has restricted DeepSeek on government devices 🇦🇺 Australia has banned it from government systems 🇰🇷 South Korea has blocked access on government devices 🇹🇼 Taiwan has prohibited government use 🇮🇹 Italy has implemented nationwide restrictions The coalition, led by Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, includes attorneys general from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The letter concludes with a stark assessment: "China is trying to steal America's secrets. America must fight back. Congress should shut down China's latest Trojan horse by passing the No DeepSeek on Government Devices Act." #China #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #NationalSecurity #cybersecurity
