Great to be at Princeton University yesterday for the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps Hub Northeast Region summit on transforming innovation into impacts in the Northeast region and beyond. Congratulations again to the two Monmouth Entrepreneurs who recently completed this prestigious program: Alex Mykulyn ‘24 (iCycle) and Taïphane Orange ‘24 (Senior Concierge).

Earlier this week, Kubarius and I had the opportunity to showcase KissUX alongside other founders at the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region’s annual poster session at Princeton University. It was wonderful connecting with inspiring entrepreneurs and sharing how KissUX empowers inclusive design. Thanks again very much for the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region supporting and galvanizing innovation! We at Lambent Data, Inc. have been happy to be part of this community since participating in Fall 2023. Lambent's Co-founder and CEO Kirsten Hund Blair was delighted to engage with many folks at the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region Annual Meeting Oct. 15, including Anne-Marie Maman, Dina Brewer and David Stengle (pictured R to L with Kirsten between the balloons!)! It was also terrific to talk with many others, including Victor Lee, Mark DeGuzman, Sandra Gomberg, Yazmin Feliz, Ph.D., Michael Ehrlich, and Digant B. Davé. Other highlights included various panels, including one on the Future of Innovation -- with  Michelle Cote (Moderator), Christine G., Elizabeth Rossi, Gillian D. Very inspiring event yesterday at Princeton University where the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region held its second annual meeting. The gathering shed light for me on the numerous yet different funding opportunities available for researchers aiming to transition their IP into a business, but also highlighted the challenges that founders may face in navigating this. The presence of - and opportunity to interact with - stakeholders from education, business, and research was a powerful demonstration of “ecosystem-building” in action. The event emphasized that such collaboration is not spontaneous but requires concerted effort and dedication to build, nurture and maintain these links. Wowza, what an amazing week—and it’s not over yet! I had the privilege of participating in the I-Corps Hub Northeast Region Annual Meeting in Princeton, NJ, an inspiring gathering of innovators and entrepreneurs focused on moving groundbreaking research into commercialization. For those not familiar, I-Corps is an incredible National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded program designed to help innovators take their ideas from the lab to the marketplace. Great speaking with Andrew S. Gordon, LSW David Stengle Judith Sheft Lucy H. Partman, PhD and Victor Lee and Jaime Camelio among many others. Afterward, I joined the first-ever AgeTech NYC Living Lab, which was a huge success, thanks to the fantastic efforts of Sarah Richard, who organized the event. The Living Lab featured some brilliant demos from founders like:    •   Katie Joseff & Patrick Deegan, PhD (Amulet by Teddybot)    •   Jeff McSpadden (Composure)    •   ivan wicksteed (Eve Companion)    •   Sarah Richard (Vara Compliance) And the week’s not done yet!
