An acute understanding and implementation of belonging can prove to be a solid foundation for recruiting and retaining diverse talent. Often, it’s assumed that inclusion is synonymous with belonging, but just because someone is included doesn’t mean they feel that they belong. Inclusion is being made a part of a group or structure, while belonging results in an affinity for that group or structure.
