[#ECR2025] New research from the European Society of Radiology annual meeting (Session: RPS 2202) highlights the potential of ProFound AI Risk. iCAD’s AI-powered short-term, image-based risk model for digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) delivers powerful insights for early breast cancer detection. In a study of 8,261 women, the DBT model achieved an AUC of 0.75 (95% CI: 0.73-0.77, p<0.01), identifying nearly half of future breast cancers at study entry. This Women's History Month, we are celebrating some of the incredible women at iCAD who are shaping the future of healthcare. Srimoyee Ghosh Acharya, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Product Management at iCAD, bringing years of experience in biotech and digital health product leadership.   🗨️ “Throughout my career I’ve seen the power of information, and how it can drastically change diagnoses and treatment decisions. From making genetic information more accessible to launching algorithms that better detect cancer in mammograms, it’s an honor to be a part of something that helps patients and providers make informed decisions about their care.”   Srimoyee began her career in cancer research, earning her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology studying metastatic breast cancer, driven by the hope of advancing targeted treatments.
