Memorial Day 2024, is a time to honor and remember the brave individuals who have served and sacrificed for our country. It's also a moment to acknowledge the ongoing battles many women face with their health. Today, we spotlight endometriosis, a condition affecting millions of women worldwide. Endometriosis occurs when the cells that normally line the inside of the uterus grow outside of it, leading to chronic pain and infertility. One prevalent theory suggests that retrograde menstruation, where menstrual blood flows backward into the pelvic cavity, might be a root cause. This misplaced tissue, much like the lining of the uterus, thickens, breaks down, and bleeds with each menstrual cycle, causing irritation, scar tissue formation, and adhesions in the pelvic organs. As we honor the courage of our veterans, let's also extend our support to the women enduring the silent struggle of endometriosis. Understanding and awareness are the first steps towards better treatment and a cure. Thank you Pearsanta, Inc. for empowering #women through proper #knowledge in this video spotlight series on #endometriosis. #stayinformed #empowerment #knowledgeiskey #chooseyourbattles #victory #tuesday
As we join the nation and observe Memorial Day 2024 here at Pearsanta, Inc., we honor and remember those who have made profound sacrifices, but also encourage everyone not to forget that today is also an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing battles many face daily, including the battle against endometriosis. #Endometriosis is a prevalent yet often misunderstood condition affecting millions of women worldwide. This health issue occurs when cells similar to those lining the uterus grow outside of it, leading to severe pain and infertility. One prevailing theory suggests that this may be due to retrograde menstruation, where menstrual blood flows backward through the fallopian tubes, causing endometrial cells to implant on other organs such as the ovaries, bladder, and beyond. The presence of these cells outside the uterus can lead to chronic inflammation, scar tissue formation, and organs sticking together, exacerbating the pain and complications associated with this condition. On this day of remembrance, let us also acknowledge and support the #women who fight through the pain and challenges of endometriosis. Understanding its root causes and spreading awareness is a step towards better care and eventually finding a cure. Thank you for joining us in this important conversation. #EndometriosisAwareness #MemorialDay2024 #HealthEducation #SupportWomen #Remember #sharetheknowledge #staysafe #stayinformed #awareness #bettercare #betterfuture #betterhealth
