Icon Electric is proud to announce the successful completion of one of our largest projects in the last three years – the 600,000 sq. ft. SubZero manufacturing facility. Starting as a ground-up build with complete site infrastructure, this project evolved into a comprehensive manufacturing build-out. Our team installed power to over 100 rooftop units, eight 3,000-amp service entrance sections (SES) feeding eight 3,000-amp distribution panels, and completed the electrical build-out for multiple office areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and manufacturing lines. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team and grateful to Willmeng for entrusting us with the electrical scope of this significant project.

Yesterday, Willmeng, ViaWest Group, Scottsdale Investment Management, and Sub-Zero Group, Inc. celebrated a successful project completion! The facility is a ground-up, tilt-panel building with 34 truck bays in a distribution-style layout for enhanced efficiency. Sub-Zero Group was one of the first companies along the 303 and we are excited to see their growing presence with this project. It is an honor to work with these phenomenal partners and to continue strengthening our relationship with them. The City of Goodyear is an excellent home for this project. We want to thank Mayor Joe Pizzillo and many of the council members for joining us. Grateful to commemorate this milestone with the team!

Stay Safe in the Heat!  Construction Workers: Prevent Heat Stroke and Stay Hydrated!  The summer heat can be relentless, especially for us construction workers who brave the scorching sun to build our world. At Icon Electric, we prioritize the well-being of our team members, and that's why we want to share some essential tips on preventing heat stroke and staying hydrated on construction sites.  Beat the Heat with These Safety Measures: Hydration is Key: Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Aim for at least 8 ounces of water every 20-30 minutes. Our bodies lose fluids rapidly in the heat, and staying hydrated helps regulate body temperature and prevent heat-related illnesses. Dress for Success: Wear loose-fitting, lightweight, and breathable clothing that covers your skin, along with a wide-brimmed hat and UV-protective sunglasses. Don't forget sunscreen to shield yourself from harmful sun rays. Time It Right: Whenever possible, schedule physically demanding tasks during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon. Minimize exposure to direct sunlight during the hottest hours. Know the Signs: Be aware of the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, including dizziness, fatigue, rapid heartbeat, nausea, confusion, and even fainting. If you or a coworker experience any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical attention. Buddy System: Look out for one another and encourage a supportive environment. Recognize the signs of heat-related illness in your colleagues and encourage them to take breaks, hydrate, and seek medical assistance if needed.  Remember, when it comes to heat stroke prevention and hydration, there is no compromise! Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe. Let's build a safer future together! #IconElectric #SafetyFirst #HeatStrokePrevention #HydrationMatters #ConstructionSafety #StayCoolStaySafe
