We spy IdAEP At-Large Directors Ashley Tarter and Patrick A. Wickman and several IdAEP members! Thank you Wetland Training Institute, Inc., Local Highway Technical Assistance Council, Idaho Transportation Department, and Forsgren Associates, Inc. for bringing this very valuable training to the beautiful State of Idaho!
At the end of June, the Wetland Training Institute (WTI), in conjunction with LHTAC, Forsgren, and the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) put together an Advanced Wetland Delineation course for Transportation Projects. This course was comprised of a series of online lectures and a two-day field course addressing difficult delineations, problematic soil situations, and a refresher on identifying hydric soils/hydrology indicators, all under the supervision of Phil Scoles, a wetland soil expert who has managed over 450 wetland delineation projects. LHTAC is honored to work alongside partnering organizations to bring training courses locally. Want to know more? Be on the lookout for our next newsletter issue coming this September.
