🌍🚛 Exciting News for Idaho! Renewable Diesel Now Available! 🚛🌍 Did you know that renewable diesel is making its debut in Idaho? Here’s why you should take notice: ✅ What is Renewable Diesel? -Meets ASTM D975 diesel standards and is chemically identical to petroleum diesel. -A 100% drop-in replacement for petroleum diesel—no modifications needed! -Important distinction: Renewable diesel is NOT biodiesel! -Proudly produced in Montana. 💰 Cost and Benefits of Renewable Diesel: -Currently priced at just 30 cents more per gallon (as of Oct 2024). -Fewer regeneration cycles due to reduced soot production. -Less frequent fuel filter replacements thanks to fewer contaminants. -Owners of older diesel vehicles have reported improved mileage. -Overall, it leads to lower maintenance costs. 🔍 Resources to Explore: For fleets looking to analyze cost-saving options, connect with: -Treasure Valley Clean Cities Coalition (TVCCC): They can help evaluate renewable diesel, electric, CNG, and more. -Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities (YTCC): Their mission focuses on reducing traditional fuel consumption while supporting the economy and protecting our environment through alternative fuels and efficient transportation.
