As WEX Global 2025 comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on these incredible three days—filled with energy, valuable insights, and strategic partnerships—all driving us toward a Water Positive future. 💪💧🌎
💥Day two at WEX Global was really busy! The event kicked off with an insightful opening session with Mark Barker, CEO at WEX Global; Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad CEO, Saudi Fund for Development, who talked about the challenges in one of the driest countries in the world; Daan Hirs, Honorary Consul of the Netherlands, who underlined the importance of water showcasing the case of his country; and Jean de Montal, Director of Solution Selling, Xylem; who closed the panel with valuable insights from one of the leading companies in the water sector. 🎤Followed by words from Jaime Barba Sevillano, CEO, Idrica, and a comprehensive presentation by Dionisio García Comín, CEO, Global Omnium, about the DANA that occurred last October. 💬💡 Dionisio stressed the importance of having not only a proper hydraulic infraestructure, but also 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 to help in the recovery and specially in the prevention of these dramatic events.
