This allows for cementless screw and ingrowth fixation for an anatomic indication and easy revision to a glenosphere for reverse in the future if necessary. Even with a large glenoid defect, the Johnson & Johnson MedTech DePuy Synthes INHANCE(TM) baseplate with an AUGMENT ON DEMAND(TM) modular Kickstand(TM) was more stable than a competitive baseplate with no defect and full backside support. “In the setting of a simulated glenoid defect, locked modular augmentation of a ringed baseplate does not result in increased baseplate micromotion when compared to full contact, non-augmented baseplates.
