I talked a little bit about embracing your passions as part of your brand, and helping people build authentic personal brands is mine. I love watching people shine their own unique light. Your talents, skills and experiences are special to YOU. There has never been nor will there ever be anyone that has your unique set of attributes that will ever walk this planet again. Be the best version of yourself — no matter what, and I KNOW it’s hard. But, just do it! You’ll feel better when you look in the mirror. A little over a year ago, I took a massive leap of faith and published my book on #personalbranding. It was at the encouragement of Kary Oberbrunner and Daphne J. Vought with the support of Lori Piotrowski that this book took shape and came into the world. It was based on the methodology that I developed many, many years ago, when I was given a handful of very senior executives at my #fortune50 employer to support. (Psst. I had no background in this!) My job was to serve as their #executivecommunications advisor and essentially (although it wasn't called that at the time) build their personal brands both internally and externally. So, I leaned into my #marketing training and started to put together a process and tested it. Refined it. Tested it. Refined it. I started to jot the process down. That became this #book --> Unleash the Power of You. A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating and Sustaining Your Own Personal Brand. Unlike other books on the topic, this one will help you craft a brand for YOU.
