A health information response system in St. Louis, MO Health information where it matters, when it matters #iHeardSTL™️
About us
iHeard St. Louis aims to build health knowledge in communities and trust in science by sharing timely, accurate health information in a coordinated way through community partners. Each week we send a 3-minute survey to 200 community members asking what health information they have heard in the last 7 days. Topics are updated weekly. We analyze survey responses immediately to identify current health information priorities in the community, then rapidly respond with accurate information for community partners to use and share. iHeard sends a weekly alert to community partners highlighting top findings and priorities, accurate health information, and local resources to support a community-wide response. In addition, we create ready-to-share media resources that can be distributed by community partners and trusted local messengers. iHeard STL partners with community organizations across sectors: public health, healthcare, social services, education, libraries, neighborhood associations, and more. Any organization having direct contact with community members is a potential iHeard partner!
