With workforce shortages continuing to impact the hospitality industry, seasonal H-2B workforce visas have become crucial to many hotels’ operations. To ensure owners are heard at the highest level, American Hotel & Lodging Association has drafted letters to be sent to elected representatives asking them to urge the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Labor to increase the maximum number of visas available for 2025. Visit bit.ly/48fjwAd to add your voice to their efforts by calling or sending letters.

Throughout September, the Association’s Europe Emerging Leaders Network (ELN) conducted a litter pick competition across hotels in the region as part of Giving for Good month. A great way to come together and work towards helping their local communities, we give thanks to every property that took part. Pictured are the Crowne Plaza Limassol, who alone collected 105 kg of litter, Crowne Plaza Basingstoke, Holiday Inn Coventry M6 J2 and Crowne Plaza Chester.
