It was a great trip!
My learning trip, hosted by the Council of Industrial and Systems Engineering (CISE - IISE cc Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers) in Washington, D.C., is an excellent ‘retreat’ to enhance knowledge and practical best practices for AI. We learned from Intel Corp, World Wide Technologies (WWT) cc World Wide Technology, Deloitte cc Deloitte, the National Science Foundation (NSF) cc National Science Foundation (NSF), George Mason University (GMU), and the Congressional Research and Technology Subcommittee (Science, Space, and Technology Committee). Besides the technical aspect, I was glad to learn about the ghost town's history- Old Town Alexandria. Attendance representing a diverse group of business vertical technology leaders from various industries and industrial and systems Engineering senior practitioners. The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IISE) is the largest 75-year-old professional organization in the industrial engineering discipline. As the hosting lead, Tiffany Sargent(Intel) Tiffany Sargent, quoted, "IISE has been gearing the executive leadership business group focused on understanding the intersection of people processes and technology as AI will be the future of Industrial and Systems Engineering." cc Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers I am glad to be proud of these Council members and to guide my fellow IE colleagues in Flex cc Flex.
