It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of longtime friend and supporter of iLearn Schools, Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr., who passed away at the age of 87. Congressman Pascrell was a true champion for New Jersey, serving 14 terms in Congress and dedicating his life to his beloved city of Paterson and to our nation. Throughout his years of service, Congressman Pascrell always fought for the people he loved and remained committed to improving our communities. His passion, dedication, and leadership will be deeply missed. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this time. Congressman Pascrell's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the difference he made in our state and beyond.

From August 6th through August 9th, iLearn Schools hosted our Leadership Summit at the Crowne Plaza Conference Center in Princeton. This gathering provided our Campus Administrators, board members, and Central Office team with the opportunity to engage in professional development, strengthen connections, and explore strategies to enhance the future of our schools. Staff participated in team-building activities and were inspired by keynote speakers covering a range of topics, including diversity and inclusivity, advocacy, AI policy, and more. Creativity and collaboration were on full display at our Leadership Summit during the Cake Wars challenge! Staff came together to decorate cakes, fostering teamwork and communication in a fun and engaging way. These team-building moments strengthen our connections and prepare us to better support our students.
