IASPA is pleased to support Josh Chambers for the position of #Region2Representative. Josh has been a member of IASPA for 10 years, he is the Communications Committee Chair, and was named the 2024 Illinois Personnel Administrator of the Year at our Annual Conference in January. Josh has also been the Co-Chair and Chair of the AASPA Leon Bradley Scholarship Committee. Josh has presented at both the local and national stage on issues that are critical to our field. More importantly, on July 30th it was announced that Josh has been named the AASPA Herb Salinger Personnel Administrator of the Year for 2024! Please take a moment to do three things: 1. Yesterday, the American Association of School Personnel Administrators announced that I have been named the Herb Salinger Personnel Administrator of the Year. I am honored to receive this award and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for this incredible recognition. First and foremost, I want to thank the amazing staff that I work with in Glenbard High School DIstrict 87. Tori, Diana, Val, Shelley, Viraj, and Lisa. You are critical to the success of our department and our district. I am also profoundly grateful to my fellow administrators in Glenbard, NWPA, and most importantly Illinois Association of School Personnel Administrators for their support and encouragement. Your friendship and community has been a constant source of motivation. And lastly, thank you to my family. Tyler Chambers, Sean Chambers, Kelsey Chambers, Emma Chambers, and most importantly my wife, Kimberly Chambers, Ed.D. for your love and understanding.
