On Wednesday, September 25 the IMD Commission was honored to host “Breaking The Silence: A Conversation On Suicide Awareness and Mental Health” in recognition of September being #suicidepreventionmonth. 💜 The event was in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Thank you to all who opened your hearts and shared your stories of healing and support. 🩵

On Thursday September 12, the IMD Commission was proud to host the The Economic Club of Chicago at the Old Cook County Hospital Building now Hyatt Place for a Member Exchange event. 🥂 Guests enjoyed IMD-inspired cocktails and got a behind-the-scenes look at the interior and exterior of this iconic and historic building, including the medical museum on the first floor (open to the public) and old surgical theater. 🏛️ Thank you to everyone for visiting the IMD!

Join VA Chicago on Friday, September 13 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. as they honor the rich contributions and legacy of our Hispanic veteran community. 🇺🇸 This event will take place at the Chicago Vet Center at 📍 8658 S Sacramento Ave. Representatives from the Veterans Business Administration (VBA) will be on hand to assist with filing claims, including those related to the PACT Act.
