A new study by an international team of researchers on gender bias in #AI found that some of the most popular AI models found that their responses showed gender bias that was “consistent, and closely aligned with gender stereotypes and the dominance of jobs.” The findings reminds us that AI reflects the world it learns from—including existing biases. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/emhzwJ6F In our work at ILO Group's AiLO, we emphasize that the safe and responsible implementation of #AI is fundamental. Biases in AI can reinforce stereotypes and hinder progress toward an education system where all can thrive. If left unchecked, these biases could shape how students are seen, treated, and educated. #AI presents powerful opportunities for system leaders, but effective adoption starts with awareness and accountability. Schools and experts must come together to ensure that AI systems are designed, trained, and tested with mitigating bias in mind. As we build AI for schools, let’s do so with a focus on empowering every student—free from the limitations of bias. The work isn’t easy, but it’s critical for creating AI that is genuinely transformative.
