Last week, IMMI and Blue Bird Bus made an historic announcement that beginning in October – lap shoulder belts will be standard safety equipment on Blue Bird buses with IMMI SafeGuard Sabre seats made at our Macon, Georgia location! We also announced that for the first time, frontal airbags (4Front) will be standard safety for school bus drivers starting in 2025. Thank you everyone for making this long safety journey in school bus to protect millions more kids a reality!! The national news story aired on CBS on Monday night.
