The Impact Disclosure Taskforce recently published their Impact Disclosure Guidance, which is available here: https://lnkd.in/dFtzPwvr The Taskforce is a network of financial institutions, capital markets participants, and industry stakeholders convened to draft voluntary guidance for entity-level impact disclosure. Impact Frontiers was happy to provide input to the development of this guidance. The Impact Performance Reporting Norms are listed as a resource to help with independent reviews of Sustainable Development Impact Disclosures that are developed following the Taskforce’s guidance. #ImpactManagement #ImpInv #ReportingNorms

In 2024, Impact Frontiers is developing guidance on emerging impact management practices for investors pursuing positive social equity outcomes. This initiative seeks to fill a critical gap: while more investors are adopting strategies to promote social equity, knowledge about how to measure, manage, and report on the impact of these efforts has not kept pace. Acknowledging the multidisciplinary nature of impact management for social equity, we began with an in-depth literature review and collaborated with the expert partners listed below to integrate best practices from both investing and related fields: ⏺ Erika Seth Davies: Chief Executive Officer at Rhia Ventures and Founder of The Racial Equity Asset Lab (The REAL)  ⏺ Tynesia Boyea-Robinson: Founder, President and CEO, CapEQ ⏺ Catherine Clark: Faculty Director at CASE at Duke and Founding Director of the CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing, along with team member Carrie Gonnella ⏺ Rebecca Fries: CEO and Co-founder of Value For Women Ltd., along with team member Asya Troychansky ⏺ Heather Krause, PStat: Founder of We All Count The resulting discussion document guidance — "Guidance on Advancing Social Equity Through Impact Management" — is organized according to four steps on impact management and focuses on areas of impact management where social equity objectives may require additional considerations or distinct approaches. Mike McCreless (Executive Director, Impact Frontiers) will be at OFN’s annual conference next week. On Monday, he will present at the Capitalization and Leverage session of the CDFI Research Symposium (hosted in partnership by Opportunity Finance Network and The Center for Impact Finance at the UNH Carsey School of Public Policy), discussing findings from a recent project looking at ways CDFIs and their capital providers can use the concept of investor contribution to increase their positive impacts. On Tuesday, he will speak at the “How should we measure CDFI impact?” #OFN40 session, which aims to encourage CDFIs to engage (and engage more deeply) in evaluation and IMM initiatives.
